Bubble wrap is a pliable transparent plastic material used for packing fragile items. Regularly spaced, protruding air-filled hemispheres (bubbles) provide cushioning for fragile items.

Can bubble wrap be recycled?
Yes bubble wrap can be recycled at your local woolworths and coles supermarket.
Just look for the redcycle bins and simply put your bubble wrap for recycling just like any other plastic satchels/courier bags. If your bubble wrap is over A3 size the redcycle program require you to cut it into pieces less than A3 and it also make it fit better in the redcycle drop off bin. Please note your council “yellow” bins cannot be used to recycle any soft plastics like bubble wrap.
